CAPLA's International PLA Network (IPLAN) looking for new members
Organized by: Canadian Association for Prior Learning Assessment (CAPLA)
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Dates: Monday September 7, 2009 – Monday September 6, 2010
The International Prior Learning Assessment Network (IPLAN) is an outcome of discussions at international conferences of the Canadian Association for Prior Learning (CAPLA), funded by the Government of Canada through HRSDC. Since then, CAPLA has continued supporting its growth in a variety of ways.Participants from a number of countries were interested in the opportunity to engage in sharing and discussion in an ongoing manner with a global audience.

The vision is an international community of practitioners involved in the field of recognition of prior learning, where resources, research and best practices could be shared and discussed on an ongoing basis. To initiate discussion and identify initial activities, CAPLA’s www.recognitionforlearning.ca website will be the platform, and consultations and discussions will take place at international conferences. As well, a webcast with international access will be implemented at each CAPLA conference.

If you are interested in participating in an International Network of PLA Practitioners, please email the contact below, and indicate your interest. Please provide your name, organization, country and contact information.
